You know when each year you make new resolutions that you "ARE" going to complete in the new year, but you know how even though you don't complete them you just keep doing it each year? So like all people I always make New Year’s resolution that I never complete including this year. For this year my resolution is CHANGE. You see I'm not exactly happy with the way my life is going. So hopefully this IS the one year that I complete my New Year resolution. So you might be asking yourself what I actually want to change about my life, so here it goes. My grades are good but I feel I am not giving it my full effort. I want to have a healthier life style, eat better, do more exercise, and have a better relationship with my family. To complete these things I think that I am going to try and really have it in myself that I want to change and remind myself constantly why I don't like my life as it is. For my first resolution is to get my grades up, for that I want to try and make myself do homework as soon as I get home. For my other resolutions I might go to a specialist or something to help me to eat healthy. To improve my relationship with my family I just have to try harder. So maybe if I really put my mind into it I will manage to for the first time complete my New Year resolution. I wonder if I finally make the effort to complete my New Year resolution I will be able to actually change and be the person I want to be. So maybe that's why people just keep doing New Year resolutions. Hope, people cling to it, because that's what makes humans human to have something to work on. Maybe that's why I do them every year because maybe one year I will complete it and maybe just maybe that year is this year. |

I love how you started the paragraph, it was a very good hook. I think it is very good that you want to exercise more because it brings a lot of health benefits. Very good structure, keep the up the good work :)

Sofia, you are right, we mostly don't accomplish our New Years Resolutions, however I believe that if you truly work toward your goals, you will succeed at the end. Great post!
